Sitephocus.com the on-line image library of the built environment now offers T-shirts inspired by their photography and passion for urban design. Currently, fourteen graphics are available in a variety of colors and styles. Simplified illustrations of city layouts, commonly called figure grounds, are a reoccurring theme in many of the graphics found on the T-Shirts. âI have always been intrigued by the intricate patterns that can be found in the urban environment. From the cityâs entire structure down to the details, you can find beauty everywhere.â said Brian Phelps, co-founder of sitephocus.com when explaining the inspiration for the shirts. Examples of cities include Barcelona, Florence, Vancouver, and Savannah. Other themes include the Vancouver Planning Model, bicycling, city scenes, and public space. The T-Shirts are available through their storefront at ( http://www.cafepress.com/sitephocus ).

About Sitephocus.com

Sitephocus.com was started in 2006 by Chris Whitis and Brian Phelps, two landscape architects in Nashville, TN in response to their frustration with on-line image resources prior to sitephocus. The site is a continually growing image library documenting the built environment of cities from around the world. Between 300-500 images of various sites are added every month. The siteâs goal is to document every city in the world. For more information visit: www.sitephocus.com.
