VANSDIRECT continues its professional development by undertaking one-to-one sales coaching with t2 business solutions.Following on from the bespoke ‘Professional Selling Telephone Skills’ sales training course that t2 created for Vansdirect, a performance coaching programme has been developed for the sales staff who attended the training – aiming to ensure the skills gained during the training are incorporated into the Vansdirect sales process.
Fifty employees participated in the sales training at t2’s head office in Cardiff, which was adapted to meet Vansdirect’s individual needs and included elements of a variety of t2’s standard sales courses, including ‘Selling by Telephone’, ‘Professional Selling Skills’ and ‘Effective Telephone Techniques’.
Glen Newman, Sales Director of Vansdirect, said: “The original sales training course provided by t2 received excellent feedback from those who attended. They all learnt new skills and were advised how to expand on the sales skills they already had.
“This one-to-one sales coaching is an opportunity for my staff to learn on the job, following up from the classroom sales training in Cardiff. This should prove beneficial for them, and should increase sales even further. t2 have created an outstanding development programme for our employees, and the benefit so far has been first-rate.”
Dave Marr, Sales and Marketing Director of t2 business solutions, said: “Coaching is the perfect way to follow up classroom training, as coaching makes individuals accountable for putting their new skills into practice.”
“Individuals also learn how to maximise their own strengths and minimise any weaknesses – this is very rarely achieved from a training course due to the constraints on the trainer.”
“The blending of training and coaching into one development programme will produce the maximum impact for Vansdirect and their employees.”
“We have enjoyed immensely working with Vansdirect and look forward to continuing our work with them in the future.”
