TM4B Helping To Avoid Duplicate Messages

As part of its continuous drive to meet the text-messaging needs of its clients, the TM4B Bulk SMS Gateway has added a useful tool to its web-based service (SMS Online) that finds duplicate entries, saving its clients from the negative implications of duplicate messages. When dealing with any method of bulk communication, there is much harm associated with duplicate entries and according to Fahed Bizzari, Managing Director of TM4B, "these harms are felt even more when SMS is being used."
"One of the key benefits that mobile messaging brings is that it is an extremely personal method of communication, but with SMS this benefit can easily turn into harm. Of course, there are the well-known issues of permission-based marketing and opting-out, but receiving the same message several times can also be a very annoying experience and must therefore be avoided."
Abu Aaminah, a technical engineer from TM4B, says "This tool has been developed for customers that use our web-based service (SMS Online) to send bulk SMS. Whilst programmers might be able to write a script that finds duplicate entries, SMS Online is mainly used by people with a mediocre level of computer literacy and popular software like MS Excel and Notepad just don't provide any way of finding duplicate entries."
"Customers can now upload their data and the tool will let them know if any duplicate entries exist. If so, they can immediately see where duplicate entries exist and can then save themselves from wasting money and annoying recipients."
The new tool is free of charge and accessible to TM4B customers by logging into SMS Online.
