ARCHITECTS GOLF CLUB CELEBRATES OPENING OF THYME RESTAURANT AND BAR & ITS BANQUET FACILITY WITH RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY

LOPATCONG, NJ, Oct. 19, 2007 – The Architects Golf Club (Architects) celebrated the official opening of its restaurant, Thyme Restaurant and Bar, and banquet facility located in their 16,000 square foot clubhouse last evening. The General Manager of Architects, Bill Colavito, and the Vice President of Food Service Operations, Rebecca Kling, were joined by Lopatcong Mayor Douglas J. Steinhardt and President/CEO of the Warren County Regional Chamber of Commerce, Robert L. Goltz, for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Architects is a semi-private facility designed for corporate or social occasions and only legacy golf course* in New Jersey. In addition to golf, Architects now offers the local area a new place to:
•Have weddings or other functions.
•Dine out for a casual lunch or an upscale dinner by candlelight.
•Enjoy live entertainment on Friday nights—with sounds ranging from jazz to contemporary.
•Attend “holiday-themed” festivities throughout the year including a family-style Thanksgiving dinner, brunch with Santa, and New Year’s Eve gala.
Thyme Restaurant and Bar is a classic, hip, destination-quality restaurant that offers French-inspired cuisine and casual, upscale dining. Inside, customers can dine by candlelight in the main restaurant area, which boasts floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows with majestic views of the Skyland Mountains and golf course. It is complete with an 18-seat cherry and granite bar, and cozy fireplace. The other area is a comfortable and intimate, club-style, lounge setting—with large projection televisions—which are used when popular sporting events are being broadcasted. The space is adorned with rich moldings, and is appointed with warm and upscale home-style furnishings. Outside, customers can dine or enjoy a cocktail on the 5,000 square foot bluestone patio—complete with tables and chairs, lounges, and fire pits.

Lite fair such as ½ lb. burgers, entrée salads and upscale sandwiches, are also available. Customers can complement their meal with a bottle of wine or enjoy a specialty cocktail.
About Catering
Architects’ clubhouse was also designed with weddings, and other social and corporate functions in mind. The bridal suite is complete with a dressing room and bar, where the bride is greeted with champagne and hors devours. The 4,000 square foot grand ballroom has floor-to-ceiling panoramic views of the Skyland Mountains and 175 acres of fairways and rolling hills. The patio provides a separate venue for ceremonies or cocktail receptions. It also can accommodate tented galas and events.
The menu packages are diverse and flexible, which enable customers to tailor the event to their specific needs and budget. The cuisine is homemade and prepared on the premises. In addition, Architects staff offers assistance with everything from planning to referrals.
