Americom Technology, Inc., formally known as United Cable Telephone Inc., was founded in 1981 as a partnership between Ronald J. Richter and Patrick W. Birkel, but has since taken on a third owner, Patrick J. Richter. The company formed to provide single source telecommunication construction and installation for companies like University of Utah, the State of Utah, the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Verizon Wireless, and Wells Fargo Bank. With just over 60 proficient employees we have steadily grown to become a $15 million company.
