The Maynard announces the Hamiltons’ programme

Peak District hotel and restaurant The Maynard is looking forward to welcoming Neil and Christine Hamilton on Thursday 25 October to kick off its 2007/2008 events programme. Tickets have been selling fast in aid of the Ruskin Charity, and The Maynard is now able to announce more details of what the event will consist of.

Neil and Christine will have with them a selection of their books, and will be happy to do book sales and signings on the night, as well as answering questions from around the table on any issue whatsoever.

Christine Hamilton said: “We will be bringing our own selection of books - details are on my website ChristineHamilton.co.uk - my 'Book of British Battleaxes'; Neil's 'Great Political Eccentrics', and my autobiography 'For Better for Worse'. We’ll be delighted to sell them for the Ruskin Charity and happy to sign copies for anyone on the night.”

Our new restaurant is an intimate venue and places are strictly limited for this event. It will be a fun and interactive evening, with people encouraged to ‘chip in’ with questions throughout the meal.”
