DALLAS – Litigation attorney Eve L. Henson, a shareholder in the Dallas law firm Sayles Werbner, recently was featured as a panelist at the American Bar Association’s “Women in Products Liability” conference held in New Orleans.

Sponsored by the ABA’s Litigation Products Liability Committee, the Oct. 4 conference focused on a number of topics currently affecting litigation attorneys in today’s legal marketplace. Ms. Henson appeared with attorneys from California, Delaware and New York in a program titled “Work Life Balance – You Can Have it All!” where panelists discussed how to properly maintain a balance between work, family and personal time.

“As a wife and mother of four children there are definite challenges in maintaining a busy law practice,” she says. “I think one of the keys is taking advantage of our communications technologies while still honoring the value of personal communication. I’m also very fortunate to have a family and professional colleagues who are very supportive.”

The ABA conference marked the second time this year that Ms. Henson has been a featured presenter at a legal symposium. In August, she delivered a presentation at the ABA’s Annual Convention in San Francisco on how juries decide cases. In “Litigation Skills: How Jurors Think – Crafting a Jury Friendly Case from Start to Finish,” Ms. Henson discussed jurors’ true motivations when deciding a case and how to present a case to bring about the most impact in the eyes of a jury.

A trial lawyer since 1994, Ms. Henson represents both plaintiffs and defendants. Her civil litigation experience includes successfully representing clients in numerous jury trials, including product liability claims, patent disputes, serious personal injury cases, and business fraud claims.

Ms. Henson was recognized as a “Rising Star” in 2004, 2005 and 2006 in a survey published in Texas Monthly magazine. She was recognized as a “Businesswoman of the Year” in 2004 by the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Sayles Werbner has an international reputation as a "go to" trial law firm in multifaceted business litigation, intellectual property, life-altering personal injury cases, product safety lawsuits and other areas of the law. More information about the firm can be found at www.swtriallaw.com.
