Huge event planned for Toronto pregnant and breastfeeding moms

Evymama, Toronto’s only breastfeeding boutique, will celebrate its official Grand Opening this weekend, Saturday, October 13 and Sunday, October 14 with giveaways, incredible deals and a fabulous contest.

The boutique, located at 266 Jane Street, just north of Bloor, will launch the festivities on Saturday morning at 10 am. The store will stay open until 6 pm on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

“We really wanted to do something special for moms and moms-to-be at our official Grand Opening,” said Sarah Kaplan, owner of Evymama.

The following promotions are planned at Evymama:

- The first 200 customers to arrive through the doors will receive Evymama goodie bags.

- Evymama will be handing out “bonus gift cards” of up to $100 with every purchase.

- Everyone walking through the door will be asked to fill in a ballot for the chance to win a $1000 Evymama nursing or maternity wardrobe for themselves, a friend or family member.

“We are really looking forward to the event and think it will be special not only for our Bloor West - High Park neighbours, but for nursing and pregnant moms from all across Toronto,” said Kaplan.

Evymama is Toronto’s first and only breastfeeding boutique offering the city's most beautiful designer and organic nursing and maternity wear for women of all sizes. Evymama also carries a huge line of nursing bras and pillows, baby carriers, breastfeeding and pregnancy supplies and gifts for new moms.

The store, located at 266 Jane St., between Bloor and Annette, has a comfortable nursing lounge with kids play area and bathroom.

“Since we first opened in September, we have met many Toronto mothers and mothers-to-be,” said Kaplan. “We wanted Evymama to be more than a nursing and maternity store. We wanted a place where moms can get information and support and where they can come and relax in our nursing lounge and kids play area while shopping for everything from natural breastfeeding, pregnancy and labour products to baby shower gifts, exclusive diaper bags and nursing and maternity dresses.”

The Evymama Grand Opening Event takes place on October 13 and 14 from 10 am to 6pm.
