IT Convergence President Patrick Krause Announces Candidacy for the OAUG Board of Directors

IT Convergence founder and President Patrick Krause proudly announces his candidacy for the Oracle Applications User Group (OAUG) Board of Directors. “I am running because I want to help the OAUG better meet the evolving needs of its growing user base” explains Krause. The user community’s growth is being fueled by Oracle’s efforts to strengthen its market position. Likewise, the community is becoming more global as economies integrate and technology brings users closer together.

As a member, Krause will bring a wealth of experience to the OAUG Board of Directors. As IT Convergence President, Krause has worked with over 600 Oracle E-Business customers in more than 50 countries. This experience has given him a first-hand view of the similarities and differences of the challenges that Oracle users in distinct regions face.

“One of the key lessons I’ve learned from working with users from around the world is that user groups must play a fundamental role in ensuring that Oracle understands the needs of its users,” contends Krause. To that end, Krause was the sponsor of the LatinOAUG, which went on to win an OAUG GEO certificate of distinction. He has also supported regional OAUG organizational efforts in California, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Asia.
