WILSONVILLE, Oregon — October 15, 2007 — Mainpine, a leading industry innovator in the global intelligent fax hardware arena, today announced its IQ Express™ fax board line is the first PCI Express fax board that has been optimized for the Microsoft® SBS Fax Server that is included for free with the SBS, Standard, and Enterprise Windows operating systems. Microsoft partners and customers are assured that the IQ Express™ multi-port fax board series provides the highest levels of interoperability, reliability and performance when deployed with Microsoft Shared Fax. Measuring only 167mm x 74mm (6.60 inches x 2.5 inches), the intelligent multi-port fax board features a sleek, low-profile, short-board form factor design that allows customers to integrate fax hardware into 32 and 64-bit Windows platforms. The IQ Express line is available in 1, 2, 4 and 8 channels with a low or standard-profile bracket option. All boards have a 1x connector and fit any of the PCI Express slots (x1, x4, x8, and x16).
“We have worked for the past eighteen months to perfect a new PCI Express multi-port fax board that has been optimized for Microsoft SBS Fax Server software and provides a streamlined hardware option for the Microsoft messaging community,” said Lloyd Johnson, president and CEO of Mainpine, Inc. “The IQ Express series has passed the Mainpine certification lab with results that far exceed industry standards and are, in fact, better than any other high-end fax board.”
“For years, we have shared the frustration of poor and unreliable modem performance when it came to deploying fax modems with Microsoft SBS Server Fax,” said Todd Reibling, President/CEO/Consultant at TR Network Consulting. ”The IQ Express fulfills a fundamental market need that has long been there. In doing so, Mainpine has delivered not only a high-performance fax board but an extremely affordable one.”
“Hardware compatibility for our Microsoft Fax Server is a top priority,” said Jennifer Meents, President of AAA Screening Services, Inc. ”Until now no options have been available in a PCIe® format for Microsoft Fax Services. It is fantastic to see that this is no longer the case!”
