(Nashville, Tennessee - October 11th, 2007) One of the methods by which Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB, Inc.) ® raises funds to support its ongoing trusteeship of the Country DJ and Radio Hall of Fame is through a digital online auction partnered with CMT.com.CRB is looking for artist items to include in their annual online auction and needs help from executives in the Radio and Recording Industries. Previous year's online auction items have included artist meet and greet opportunities, gold records, autographed memorabilia, meals with artists, and a variety of signed instruments.
R.J. Curtis of Radio and Records and Chairman of the Country DJ and Radio Hall of Fame Committee stated, "The Country DJ and Radio Hall of Fame is a self-sustaining event, so auction items are important for CRB in order to continue recognizing air personalities and broadcasters who have contributed to the growth of this format."
CRB Executive Director Ed Salamon added, "The CRB is the only organization to honor the contribution of Country music air personalities as well as those behind the scenes in radio with their own award. All of radio appreciates the contributions from artists and their partners to this auction which makes the Hall of Fame possible."
Auction items may be delivered or mailed to the CRB offices at 819 18th Ave. S. Nashville, TN 37203. If you have any questions or need additional information please call the CRB offices at 615-327-4487.
