PITTSBURGH, PA- October 6, 2007 - The sound of serial killers traveled around the world, 115 countries to be exact, when Charles Pero, The Master of Murder and author of the Twisted Killer Series, was a guest on "What's Happening", a show that highlights social, political and cultural events in the United States."What's Happening" hosted by Lillian Cauldwell, the President and CEO of P.I.V.T.R. an internationally aired online radio program started almost three years ago and has had great success featuring authors such as Pero. Cauldwell masterminded the internet radio program based on three platforms: to help market and promote authors to the media and listeners; to provide a conduit for people to get their opinions known; and to educate listeners by presenting them with experts who are passionate about their subject.
"I've had several authors say they wanted to be on my show because I ask intriguing questions, not your typical run-of-mill interview questions," said Cauldwell. That's for sure… Pero, featured as the expert on "The Killer Mind: An Author's Perspective", aired at 3:00 EST on September 26th can be heard on PIVTR's website www.internetvoicesradio.com and www.sterlinghousepublisher.com where Pero gives an in-depth look into the method and motives of writing his thrillers- an early Halloween treat.
"I know it might sound peculiar, but I love talking about and studying serial killers," Pero says. "Although they are reprehensible, I also find them fascinating. As far as writing goes, they are the best kind of murderer, since their crimes make for an exciting plot, which fulfills my needs as a storyteller. I also enjoy exposing how these killers think, so that the public may be better informed about them."
Pero, who is gaining international recognition for his mystery thriller, The Maze Murderer, already has international success as a businessman in his family's world-wide vegetable company. "The two businesses have little in common," Pero laughs. "However, when I'm traveling I have a lot of time to plot my next novel. And they're always about another type of twisted killer."
