Punch has once again been recognised for its innovative traditions and lateral approach to work, this time in the National press. The article in The Daily Telegraph (Thursday 4th October) highlighted ways in which social networking sites, such as Facebook, can be used not only as a source of interaction but as a source which can assist in moving businesses forward for very little outlay.Punch has utilised the novel use of such sites in its recent recruitment drive where a placed advert on Facebook, at a cost of only $4 (£2), was viewed over two thousand times and produced some excellent results. Having received numerous enquires and eight or nine ideal CV's, Punch now boasts a tangible return from a successful campaign, a campaign that reflects Punch as a whole and its diverse approach to working towards getting the desired results.
Pete Goold, Managing Director said "We always try to think outside the box in everything we do. With Facebook being once of the fastest growing sites in the UK and having over five million users it seemed only logical that an advert would be viewed thousands of times and ultimately produce what we were looking for. It's a terrific way of getting candidates directly while at the same time raising brand awareness"
