Wine Cellar Strategies | Wine Tasting Event

(New York, NY) – Italian Wine Merchants (IWM) is hosting a Wine Cellar Strategies Seminar and Wine Tasting which will provide wine enthusiasts and collectors with valuable insight on building and maintaining a balanced wine collection. The Wine Cellar Strategies Seminar is scheduled for Saturday, October 6, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at IWM’s state-of-the-art wine tasting facility—Studio del Gusto. An IWM “Cellar Master” will lead the Cellaring Strategies Seminar while attendees partake in a tasting of fine Italian wines which will include vintage Barolo, Brunello, and Super-Tuscan bottlings from Italy’s most esteemed wine estates including Argiano and Poderi Aldo Conterno. Wines will be accompanied by an assortment of Italian antipasti affording attendees an exclusive tasting experience that is both informative and enjoyable.

This Wine Cellar Strategies Seminar will profile proven tactics to building a balanced wine collection based on buying and cellaring strategies that satisfy both short-term needs and long-term collecting objectives. IWM’s approach incorporates decisively selecting wines that suit a range of occasions from everyday bottles for casual consumption to investment bottles which demand time in the cellar to fully appreciate. To aid in establishing this foundation, IWM will introduce its exclusive suite of Wine Management Tools which allow collectors to research, track, analyze, and chart their growing wine collections. This seminar will address the needs of every level of collector from those beginning with a wine rack or wine refrigerator, to the established collector with an extensive wine cellar.
