Compact Fly Fishing Vest with Rod Holder Makes It Easy to Change Flies/Tackle

TechVest is an efficient, fully featured fly fishing vest. It accommodates all the gear you need in a highly engineered compact vest. All tools and tackle are put away securely so equipment does not get caught up in the brush.

Montana based TechVest was designed by Les Zuck in 2006. As a native Montanan, Les combines his professional engineering and fly fishing experience in the function and comprehensive design of TechVest. Les has served as President of Magic City Fly Fishers, a chapter of Trout Unlimited and an associate with the Federation of Fly Fishers.

Completely Adjustable to Fits All Sizes
Two shoulder and two waist straps offer full adjustment making this a one size fits all chest pack, great for kids, women and men.

Toolbox with Tippet Dispenser and Retractors
Two strong neodymium nickel plated magnetic fly holders are located on the inside of the front flap attached by velcro. The tippet dispenser is turned up to dispense tippet, then turned upside down to store tippet securely. All fishing tools are held by retractors to prevent accidental loss.

Split Shot Dispensers
The split shot dispensers were custom designed by Les to be held in place with retractors. Twist the cap, get split shot, and then return the dispenser in slot.

Rod Holder
The center compartment contains a rod holder and custom-designed tool box which make it easy to change flies with both hands. The center compartment also has a small pocket on each side which will accommodate a thermometer, or similar accessories. Two tabs are supplied on the front of the middle pocket to attach a leader straightener and a fly dryer.

4 Fly Box Pockets
The TechVest includes four fly box pockets, 2 on each side of the toolbox. The two large pockets each have a smaller pocket attached.

Removable Fleece-Lined Hand Warmer
The black 6" x 12" removable fleece-lined tube-type hand warmer is velcro fastened on the backside of the front vest. Take it off in summer seasons and add hand warmer on cooler days.

Backpack and Stuff Bag
The back has a zippered backpack pocket with a removable stuff bag attached for additional gear, such as a raincoat. A D-ring at the top center of the backpack accommodates a handheld fish net with a magnetic release.

Float Tube Fishing Vest
The adjustable shoulder and waist straps allow fishermen to raise the TechVest so it fits in a float tube.
