CLICKBANK CEO BOB KING TO SPEAK AT RETAIL 2.0 CONFERENCE

The conference takes place Sept. 30 – Oct. 2 in Scottsdale, Ariz., and will host a variety of speakers and panels covering the convergence of in-store, Internet, catalog and direct merchandising. King’s closing keynote panel, “Retail 2.0 Strategies in Action,” will focus on how online interactivity, customer engagement and social networking are the next frontier in Web and cross-channel retailing.

“We want to create a dialogue about where the industry’s going to help retailers of all kinds make the most of both existing and emerging technology,” said King. “Experience breeds expertise, and with ClickBank’s background in providing support for selling and promoting digitally delivered products, I hope to provide a unique perspective on how to optimize technology in the Web 2.0 environment.”

King and other panelists – including executives from Aeropostale, Ecommerce and the Orvis Company – will provide the “need-to-knows” about how to develop and integrate new concepts with current business practices to increase the number of visitors to retail Web sites and create loyal customers.

King was named the 2007 APEX Award Technology Executive of the Year by the Colorado Software and Internet Association. He has served at the helm of a number of innovative companies including FoxMeyer, Requisite Technology and Corporate Express. He was named CEO of ClickBank in 2005.
