Susan G. Tannery Promoted to Senior Vice President

Raleigh, NC – Steven R. Ogburn, President and Chief Executive Officer of CapStone Bank, announced Susan G. Tannery has been named Senior Vice President for CapStone Bank.

“Susan was very instrumental in helping to start CapStone Bank and serves as an integral part of our Senior Management Team. Her responsibilities include Marketing, Human Resources, Investor Relations and serving as our Corporate Secretary,” said Ogburn. “I congratulate Susan on this well-deserved promotion.”

Prior to joining CapStone, Tannery served as Vice President and Corporate Secretary for Triangle Bancorp, Inc. and Triangle Bank prior to its acquisition by Centura Bank, where she also served as Vice President. Following graduation from Appalachian State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, she received her MBA from Campbell University. Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in the community, volunteering in many capacities, especially for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
