Ashburn SUBWAY® franchisee to raffle Redskins tickets, offer discounts at family-friendly grand opening event

ASHBURN, Va. (Oct. 3, 2007) — SUBWAY® franchisee Vince Carbone is proud to be an Ashburn business owner, and on Saturday, Oct. 13 he is inviting the community to join him in celebrating the opening of his third SUBWAY® location. The festivities will take place at the SUBWAY® in Ryan Park Shopping Center, located at 43490 Yukon Drive, Suite 115 near the Home Depot.

“I wanted to thank the community that has helped me succeed,” said Carbone. “Without our loyal customers, we would never have been able to expand. This family-friendly grand opening celebration is my way of saying thanks.”

Customers are invited to stop by between 7 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. the day of the event, allowing them to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. With each purchase made, the customer’s name will be entered into a raffle for two football tickets to watch the Washington Redskins take on the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday, Oct. 21.

During the event, customers can enjoy free cookies all day long, as well as a special buy one, get one free deal on any six-inch sub with the purchase of a medium drink. In addition, children will enjoy free face painting, balloons and an inflatable moon bounce.

“I enjoy calling this area home,” said Carbone. “While the community has experienced tremendous growth, it has also maintained its beauty. It is a great place to live and work.” He hopes to open a fourth SUBWAY® within the next year.

The Ryan Park Shopping Center SUBWAY® is normally open Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Carbone’s two other SUBWAY® Restaurants are located in Junction Plaza and Broadlands Center Plaza.
