Non-Surgical Body Sculpting with LipoDissolve a Hot Trend According to Twin Cities Medical Spa Owners

The owners of Skin Rejuvenation Clinic, P.A., a leading non-surgical cosmetic center in Minnesota are seeing a growing number of inquires from potential clients interested in non-surgical body sculpting procedures.

According to Dr. Mark Hagberg, co-owner of Skin Rejuvenation Clinic, LipoDissolve® body sculpting enhancements, non-surgical rhinoplasty procedures and injectable facelifts are all cosmetic treatment options that were virtually unheard of until recently. Thanks to new and improved product developments as well as increased public demand for more non-surgical aesthetic options, now there are more ways than ever to enhance your appearance without going “under the knife”.

“While utilizing new injectable products we are able to administer some pretty amazing treatments,” explained Dr. Mark Hagberg. Hagberg, who founded the clinic with his wife and business partner, Dr. Elizabeth Hagberg said that the clinic’s “before and after book” is growing rapidly with dramatic transformations from satisfied clients.

“One of my favorite body sculpting procedures is one in which I literally create a ‘six-pack’ stomach utilizing LipoDissolve,” he said. “I inject a naturally occurring enzyme solution and soy product called phosphatidylcholine/deoxycholate, or PCDC, through a series of micro-injections in certain abdominal areas to permanently dissolve fat, giving the appearance of a ‘six-pack’ stomach.”

Hagberg said LipoDissolve is a very popular and safe procedure used to slim and sculpt unwanted fat in many different areas of the body. “Although I am a physician administering a medical procedure, there is something very artistic about body sculpting using LipoDissolve,” he said. “I enjoy finding new ways to use the product because I see how satisfied my clients are after the procedure.”

Another body sculpting technique rapidly becoming popular is the non-surgical rhinoplasty, or nose job. Using an injectable product such as Restylane®, Perlane®, JuvedermTM or Radiesse®, Dr. Hagberg and his wife are able to enhance portions of the nose, giving it a new, more balanced appearance.
He said, “This procedure uses a filler to smooth nose bumps or in some cases, divots, giving the nose a more pleasing appearance.” He explained that because the injectables are not permanent and can last from six months to a year, the non-surgical rhinoplasty can be a less intimidating option for those considering plastic surgery.

“We encourage our clients to seek advice from plastic surgeons as well as non-surgical providers, such ourselves. It’s important to weigh the available options,” he said.

The Injectable Facelift (also known as the non-surgical facelift) is another relatively new body sculpting procedure available. Although the products administered during this treatment can vary from practice to practice, the basic procedure usually consists of a variety of injectables including Botox®, fillers such as Restylane and Radiesse, and body sculpting solutions such as LipoDissolve and mesotherapy (meso-therapy).

“The non-surgical facelift is appealing because it’s not permanent,” Dr. Elizabeth Hagberg explained. “It is an ideal treatment to try before considering plastic surgery because often times we are able to create dramatic facial enhancements using just injectables and laser procedures.” She went on to state that a non-surgical facelift does cost less than a traditional facelift, however additional treatments are required to maintain desired results.
