Burbank, CA, September 28, 2007 – The second of a four-issue comic book run of Still Playing with Toys Presents will be soliciting in this October’s edition of Previews (V17#10) for distribution by Diamond Comic Distributors. The 24-page, full color issue is a “two-comic for the price of one” that continues the adventures of two very different stories, Angel XRC and Only in Dreams. The second issue of Still Playing with Toys Presents #2 follows up the premiere issue which hits fine comic shop stands October 31, 2007. “The artwork and mood of the second issue is far more intense than introduced in issue one,” states Editor-in-Chief and Publisher Troy Benjamin. “I think that this second issue will not only grip the readers from our debut issue and leave them wanting more, but will bring in a whole new set of fans. There truly is something for everyone in both XRC and Dreams, comedy, intrigue, sex, danger… no element is left unturned in #2.”
In Angel XRC, Lieutenant Jacob Axebry, is on the run after being framed for the murder of Xeriv President Barnes. But things get a little dicey when he runs into an old friend who is out for Axebry’s blood.
Inside the second installment of Only in Dreams, our four college student heroes have entered the dreams of their first test subject Mark only to find a bizarre and surreal world where our protagonist Nate comes face to face with the last thing he expected in such a strange place: the girl of his dreams (literally).
