ROCK THE CAUSE PRESENTS GLITTER BALL: A Glam Rock Tribute and AIDS Awareness Concert

St. Paul, Minn. – September 28, 2007 – Rock the Cause, a non-profit organization working to create positive life-changing experiences through the power of music, will host Glitter Ball on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at The Fine Line Music Café in Minneapolis. Glitter Ball, a glam rock tribute and AIDS Awareness concert, will feature the music of David Bowie, T. Rex, Queen, The Stooges, Roxy Music and more performed by local artists. Just days after Halloween, guests are encouraged to wear 70’s glam attire to the fete.

Glitter Ball line up includes, All the Pretty Horses, The Alarmists, The Debut, So It Goes, Lili’s Burlesque Revue, The Melismatics, and DJ’s Fundamentalist, Jimmy 2X, and Plain Ole Bill will spin 70’s dance tunes late into the night. The sassy and sultry, Nadine Dubois of Lili’s, is Glitter Ball’s mistress of ceremonies. Each artist is generously donating their time and talent to Rock the Cause.

Guests will also learn about the important work of Clare Housing (http://www.clarehousing.org) and Minnesota AIDS Project (http://www.mnaidsproject.org), which serve people in our community living with HIV and AIDS. Rock the Cause will donate 100% of event proceeds to these two nonprofit organizations.
