WinScribe’s New Digital Dictation Software Enhanced for Radiologists

WinScribe, the world-leading provider of digital dictation software, has launched WinScribe 3.7, the latest version of its digital dictation and workflow solution with enhancements optimised for radiologists. The new version includes features designed to ease radiologists’ workflow and improve productivity, including enhanced speech recognition and easy integration with Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Picture Archive Communication Systems (PACS) and other systems.

The ability to remotely generate reports is improved by support for a multitude of dictation input devices and new speech recognition capabilities. A fully integrated hand-held solution is also available to make reviewing and approving reports easy in a mobile environment.
The new version includes several automation enhancements to save radiologists time that would have been spent in administration. WinScribe 3.7 uses an ‘Intelligent Workflow Manager’ to allow automatic distribution of signed reports to clinicians. Automated transcription features and report templates further streamline the process.
