Lake Tahoe, Nevada – Although TimeshareGiant.com launched on August 17th of this year, the dream that ultimately brought it to life started many years ago. Karen Phelan, creator of TimeshareGiant.com, started her career on a snowy January day in 1985 as a young, impressionable front desk clerk at a large Lake Tahoe timeshare resort.

Unbeknownst to her, when she came to work that snowy January day, she would ultimately choose the timeshare industry as her lifelong career.

“I remember my first day. The resort I worked for was brand new at the time, and most of the employees were new, like me. The management was upbeat, and treated everyone like an equal. It was the first time in my life that I had experienced anything like it. I felt like every person I came in contact with was my friend. It was an exciting time. Little did my colleagues know, they would be the ambassadors into the industry I ultimately chose as my lifetime career”, Phelan shared.

Since that snowy January day in 1985, Karen Phelan has had a never-ending thirst to experience the many facets of the timeshare industry. Her position as a front desk clerk provided a gateway that would lead her into timeshare sales, timeshare marketing, and timeshare management, which gave her the knowledge and experience to start her own successful timeshare resale company. Now, she’s added a new facet to her career by bringing TimeshareGiant.com into existence.

“Back in the mid-1990’s, when the internet first became a mainstream media, I had a passion to create a dot-com venue, packed with tons of useful features to help timeshare owners, buyers, and renters optimize their timeshare experience.” Phelan said.
