Set up earlier this year and headed by business partners Faye Colver and Tori Oldridge, Bounce is based in the market town of Epworth. Previous to Bounce, Faye worked as a PR and marketing consultant, and Tori as a freelance journalist.
Following recent customer feedback and research, Bounce has developed a new service to aid smaller companies gain marketing and PR help, advice and support without having to pay the expensive fees that are considered to be standard within the industry.
‘Very often smaller companies are desperate for marketing and PR support but are put off by the expensive agency fees charged,’ explains Tori. ‘We found from our research that often they just want to chat through their ideas with someone and gain direction. Small companies are reluctant to approach marketing agencies and discuss their requirements as they feel they’re wasting the agency’s time as they are unable to afford the monthly retainer required to carry out any work.’
‘We still have our retained clients who we provide a full marketing and PR service to. However, in addition, we now have a number of clients who subscribe to this lower priced service as they very often just want a chat and some general advice on how to take their business forward. We couldn’t justify charging these companies large amounts of money for the amount of time it takes to have a phone conversation. On the other hand, it’s not a service we could offer for free either as we would never make any money!’
By subscribing to Bounce’s lower priced service which starts at just £50 per month, clients are able to gain advice on anything from highlighting target markets, planning campaigns, general marketing and PR, and even administration issues such as writing letters.
‘The service also gives us a chance to keep in contact with clients so we can monitor their progress,’ says Faye. ‘Many companies decide that they need marketing help when things aren’t going well. By being in constant contact with them means we can highlight issues before they become problems and look at ways in which to turn them around. If anything comes up that we feel would be of interest to the clients too we will pass this information onto them, therefore always suggesting ways in which they can use marketing and PR to specifically improve their company and achieve their business objectives, as well as keeping them up to date with their market.’
In addition to the new service, Bounce also offers general PR and marketing across all sectors.
