One of many creative initiatives designed to help disadvantaged groups back into work, Fuse Jobs (www.fusejobs.co.uk) has created access to thousands of public sector and not-for-profit vacancies for jobseekers, by linking up with one of the UK’s most successful social enterprise initiatives, Jobsgopublic (www.jobsgopublic.com).The unique partnership has been designed to work in two ways. Firstly, providing Jobsgopublic with access to a greater pool of candidates, and secondly, supplying Fuse Jobs with thousands of public sector and not-for-profit vacancies for their jobseekers. By exploring different sectors of the job market, the partnership will open up new horizons and increase the potential to find work for London’s jobseekers.
Jobs go Public director, Richard Tyrie, confirmed, “Tackling worklessness is increasingly one of the key priorities for public sector employers; and we are doing everything we can do to assist them with that. We are genuinely excited at the prospect of working with Fuse Jobs to help all parties concerned improve the brokerage of skills into the public sector workplace.”
Sharing the same goals and inspirations, both Fuse Jobs and Jobsgopublic are geared up to promoting sustainable communities by providing London’s most disadvantaged groups with access to relevant opportunities in public and not-for-profit sectors. Fuse Jobs director, Matt Haikin explains, “There is a huge gap in services provided by either the recruitment market or government-funded training and brokerage programs. Fuse Jobs aims to fill this gap by making sure anyone looking for entry-level or lower-level vacancies can access every single relevant job available in London. Partnering with Jobsgopublic takes us a big step towards realizing this goal.”
Inspired to make a difference to their communities, more and more people are straying from the commercial corporation towards public and voluntary sector organisations. The Fuse Jobs – Jobsgopublic partnership initiative is testament to this fact. With access to the extensive range of opportunities offered in the public and not for profit sectors, Fuse Jobs’ registered users will now discover the wealth of opportunities available to them in the public and voluntary sectors that they may not have previously considered.
