Sydney's "House of Love" Bachelor Chooses Partner After Week-Long Dating Marathon

Sydney's most public bachelor Paul Bardetta has completed his epic dating marathon in a custom-made house at Circular Quay and has chosen his favourite date to accompany him to Paris. Online dating marathon ends with Paul Bardetta finding love after the impossible task of choosing just one woman from his 20 dates in 5 days.

Vanessa Ropa, a 22 year-old music student from Croydon won Bardetta’s heart with her down-to-earth personality.

“Vanessa was someone I really clicked with and felt that I could really be myself around,” said Bardetta.

The Partner4Real bachelor said he had an extremely tough time choosing his dream date from the 20 women he dated last week in full public view while living in the glass and steel house 24 hours a day, Monday to Friday.

“I have met some wonderful women in the past week,” Bardetta said. “It’s been just amazing to have the chance to hang out with such a variety of fantastic women I normally wouldn’t meet. They’ve all been very genuine, very nice, very real girls.”

While living in the House of Love for five days, Bardetta chose four dates a day from women who signed up to www.partner4real.com.au for their chance to join in the dating game.

Before entering the house, Bardetta conceded he had a patchy track record in holding together serious relationships – and that he didn’t really know what he wanted in his dream date.

After a week in the house, however, Bardetta said he has a much clearer idea of what attributes he wants in his ideal partner.

”Absolutely. I know I want a girl who is 110% genuine, real and kind. I want a woman who smiles and is a naturally happy and optimistic person.

“In terms of appearance, I work hard to keep my appearance up so I would somewhat expect the same thing. I have met so many gorgeous women through this experience- all of whom carry the traits of being genuine, real and with a fantastic smile. It was a hard decision,” he said.

Bardetta said that while many people had branded him “Sydney’s luckiest man” to have the chance to date 20 women in a week, he admitted that the strain of back-to-back dating was considerable.

“Sometimes I felt like I was losing my mind,” the 26-year-old advertising executive said. “I would forget if I was repeating myself – if I had told the same story to the same woman. I also felt pretty exposed.”

Bardetta also said the experience had been a valuable one personally as well as in the love stakes.

“I felt like I grew up a lot – talking to so many different women without being in a club or at a party meant I could be myself a lot more.”
