Foyles filled-full at Here or There launch party

Over 150 eager guests attended a Legend Press party at Foyles gallery last week to celebrate the launch of Here or There, the light-literary debut by talented young London author Rebecca Strong. The novel, which is the latest in Legend Press’ fast-growing list, hit shops on Saturday 28th July, with the packed-out pre-launch party and champagne reception having taken place on Wednesday.

Opinion among guests at the party was that Legend Press has discovered a highly-talented young new author in Rebecca and well over 100 specially-signed copies of the new novel were sold. Another indication of Rebecca’s talent came with the notification that the book had made the shortlist for BBC Radio’s Five Live Book of the Month feature on the hugely-popular Simon Mayo programme.

The novel is being described as a powerful illustration of the rich and often troubled tapestry of modern society and is split between the everyday experiences of numerous characters whose lives touch fleetingly, yet often with unpredictable significance. It is a novel about choices, freedom, desire, and how much we can control, and is expected to appeal to an extremely wide readership.
