$100,000,000 Lawsuit Filed in U.S. District Court in Miami Against Norwegian Cruise Lines Arising Out of Storm and Giant "Rogue" Waves

Miami Florida… Lawyers have filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit claiming damages for their clients for injuries sustained while on a cruise from the Bahamas to New York.
The attorneys and some passengers allege that Norwegian Cruise Lines sailed the Norwegian Dawn into a known storm and predictable weather to rush back for an upcoming espisode of the television show "The Apprentice". NCL denies the allegations and says that Bahamian Authorities have cleared their actions.
Attorneys for the claimants allege this was not an Act of God and that Norwegian Cruise Lines was negligent and is liable for damages for its actions and the actions of its Captain and crew.
Other passengers on board this cruise that have been injured or damaged and want legal advice may contact Clark & Watson P.A. for a consultation regarding their legal rights and potential claim. Also, Clark & Watson can refer passengers to other legal counsel, involved in this matter if they wish, and if it is in the passenger's best interests. There often are very short deadlines for filing a claim or lawsuit.
Just because passengers were on the cruise does not mean that they necessarily are entitled to compensation. A maritime lawyer will have to analyze each claim to make a determination of the passenger's legal rights.
