BlueStar Announces New Government Division Manager

Florence, KY—September 19, 2007 — BlueStar, the leading innovator in solutions-based distribution for Auto ID, Point-of-Sale and RFID products, is officially announcing the recent addition of Rudy Bojorquez to the BlueStar team as Government Division Manager.Bojorquez will be leading BlueStar’s Government sales initiative. He will manage and oversee the training of the BlueStar sales team in Government mandates and requirements so they can inform and educate new VARs that want to enter into the Government buying space with BlueStar as a partner.

Joining BlueStar in August 2007, Bojorquez brings over 14 years of experience in specialized Information Technology to the company. He has spent the last 4 years dealing specifically with Government-approved security solutions in compliance with Homeland Security initiatives.
Bojorquez previously helped develop and implement Ingram Micro’s Partnership America Program. He managed Federal business, GSA, procurement opportunities, and pricing contracts for over 300 manufacturers within the distribution channel. After leaving Ingram, Bojorquez served as Eastern Regional Manager for Ft. Lauderdale-based Alternative Technology—a thinkclient/server-based computing, edge infrastructure, and Government-approved security solutions distributor.
