June 18, 2005 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
Puchong, Malaysia June 18, 2005 — Chrysanth Software has released Chrysanth NETime Channel v. 3.0, an Internet Explorer add-in that makes it easy to view RSS, RDF, and ATOM feeds from inside your browser. With the NETime Channel toolbar installed in Internet Explorer, you can click the orange RSS button on any web site, and view beautifully formatted text. Without NETime Channel, your browser displays the nearly-unreadable raw XML file.NETime Channel lets you read blogs directly from their authors' web sites. Whether the blogs are formatted according to RSS, RDF, or ATOM standards, NETime Channel converts them into nicely-formatted web pages that are a pleasure to read. The program supports all three RSS viewing modes: summary, listing, and detail views.
You don't have to visit each web site to read its RSS data. Simply add your favorite RSS feeds to NETime Channel's subscription list, and the program will automatically visit each of your favorite blog sites, and grab the latest data for you to read. You can view complete RSS feeds, or just look at the most recently updated information from all of the blogs on your list. NETime Channel can even monitor your GMail RSS feed, and alert you when you've received any new emails in that account.
If you don't want to read RSS feeds using an Internet Explorer toolbar, you can visit http://www.netimechannel.com/ and read your favorite feeds online. Simply set up an account, list your favorite RSS feeds, and read your professionally-formatted blogs online. The built-in search engine lets you find your RSS feeds quickly. You can even use the online system to preview the RSS feeds that you're creating, and ensure that they'll look perfect in your users' RSS readers, too.
As Internet users continue to grow weary of spam and other invasions of their privacy, RSS feeds will become more and more popular. Instead of emailing newsletters and notifications to customers, businesses are using RSS feeds, which put the user in control of the process. With RSS feeds, users grab the information that they want, when they want it. With NETime Channel, users can view beautifully formatted RSS information within the comfort of their favorite web browser, or on the NETime Channel web site.
Both the Internet Explorer add-in and the online service are free, with no adware or spyware. To download your copy of NETime Channel, or to set up your private online account, visit http://www.netimechannel.com/.
