Earthbound Media Group (EMG) Begins Successful Partnership with the Art Institute – Orange County

Irvine, CA – On August 1st, Earthbound Media Group (EMG) began ongoing work as sole content manager for the Art Institute of California – Orange County’s (AIOC’s) online presence. Using best practices in search engine marketing and web analytics, EMG plans to drive traffic, increase awareness and boost enrollment for the prestigious arts school.
“Each month, we’ll be working to optimize one of AIOC’s micro-sites,” explained Jeff Lawrence, EMG’s Web Analytics and SEO Specialist. “The goal is to enhance both organic and paid search results by utilizing specific search engine optimization techniques. This way, we’re able to generate leads via organic or free methods. The end result is highly targeted and relevant traffic, lowering the cost per lead.”

EMG is also currently running a paid search campaign for AIOC in all three of the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, and MSN). This supplementary tactic allows AIOC to again target highly specific traffic to relevant landing pages.

“By implementing techniques such as geo-targeting, day-parting, and dynamic keyword insertion, Earthbound Media Group is able to complement their SEO efforts with the end result being offering a low cost per lead,” Jeff continued. “Creative solutions like these will help generate rapid results for the AIOC.”

To monitor and analyze the AIOC’s organic and paid search engine marketing campaigns, EMG is also implementing advanced techniques in Google Analytics. Google Analytics offers the ability to deeply segment for traffic sources, keywords, and campaigns among others to dig deep to see what is working, and what isn’t and then make changes as necessary.
In addition to monitoring overall campaign effectiveness, EMG has other large-scale projects in the works with the AIOC. New marketing campaigns are set to be unveiled in fall 2007 as the EMG/AIOC partnership continues to grow.
