Mouser Electronics and MEDER electronic, Inc. Expand Distribution Agreement for Global Reach

Mouser Electronics, Inc., known for its
rapid introduction of the newest products, today announced its distribution agreement with MEDER electronic, Inc. has expanded to include the global marketplace.

MEDER is a leading global manufacturer of reed switches, sensors, relays, and relay modules, as well as an official source for OKI reed switches.

According to Barry McConnell, Mouser Vice President of Product Marketing, the expanded distribution agreement with MEDER capitalizes on Mouser’s core competencies of fast introduction, extensive stocking, and promotion of the newest products to the global design engineering community.

The new MEDER MS Series of Micro SIL single-in-line relays requires less than half the mounting area of a standard reed relay and half the board space a standard SIL requires. These relays are available with a diode, internal magnetic shield, and a high coil resistance option.

The new CRF High-Frequency reed relay is a low-profile device made with a ceramic case that eliminates packaging stress by matching the thermal coefficient of expansion for the reed switch glass and reed lead. Ideal for RF applications, the relay features a lead-free frame, surface-mount design that eliminates skewing and co-planarity issues, and a minimum path length and internal shield.

Other new products from MEDER include OKI glass reed switches that range from 7mm to 21mm and are available in surface mount, high power, and miniature switch options.
