THE TASTING ROOM, MAX’S WINE DIVE AND TEXAS MONTHLY PRESENT HOUSTON CELLAR CLASSIC 2007: A CELEBRATION OF WINE AND FOOD

Houston – Houston wine lovers, mark your calendars for October 29th through
November 4th! That’s when The Tasting Room, TTR Gourmet, MAX’S Wine Dive and Texas Monthly proudly present “Houston Cellar Classic 2007: A Celebration of Wine and Food.” The culinary extravaganza, Houston’s first week-long celebration dedicated to the love of fine wine and fabulous food, will take place at multiple locations throughout the city.

“For the past few years we’ve hosted the Cellar Classic, a one-day event, at Uptown Park,” said Jonathan Horowitz, co-owner of The Tasting Room, TTR Gourmet and Max’s Wine Dive. “This year, our goal is to create the City of Houston’s first nationallyrecognized
wine and food event. we’re thrilled That Texas Monthly has joined us in this
effort and believe that with their support the Houston Cellar Classic will become one of the country’s best annual wine and food events.”

Beginning Monday, October 29, and ending Sunday, November 4, the Houston Cellar
Classic will feature more than 20 wine and food events, including wine tastings nightly,
national and local celebrity chefs, wine and food pairing events, a riedel crystal
demonstration and tasting, sommelier competitions, wine dinners, gourmet food tastings, a farmer’s market and live music, along with fantastic pricing on retail wines. In
addition to pouring great wines and serving fabulous foods, the wine-savvy staff at The Tasting Room will be on hand to answer any and all wine-related questions.
