Atlanta, Georgia … Scott Brown, a top corporate executive whose experience includes senior management at a global high-tech manufacturing company, entrepreneurial business development, corporate sales and investor relations, has been named President and Operating Partner of Atlanta-based Stratus Building Solutions of Georgia.

Mr. Brown is responsible for strategic planning, operations management and unit franchise sales administration at Stratus Building Solutions of Georgia, a regional Master Franchise of St. Louis-based franchisor Stratus Building Solutions that is introducing new standards for high quality in the commercial cleaning industry.

After graduating magna cum laude from Yale University in 1984, Mr. Brown began a successful business career as a publishing sales executive in Atlanta, then created and managed publishing companies in North Carolina and Pennsylvania, which he later sold. He then established new sales channels as a key account executive for companies in publishing, contract manufacturing and business services before serving as a sales and marketing consultant for professional services and high-technology firms.

Most recently, Mr. Brown served as Director of Global Marketing and Investor Relations at Measurement Specialties, Inc. (NASDAQ: MEAS), a global designer and manufacturer of industrial sensors based in Hampton, VA, whose fiscal 2007 sales exceeded $200 million.
