Advertising & Marketing/Fashion & Cosmetics: Taiga Bioactives Seeks Model for Upcoming National Advertising Campaign

Calgary, Alberta – September 8, 2007 – Taiga Bioactives is looking for a fresh face for its new branded line of lip care products, slated to be launched in November throughout North America. The Calgary based organization said it wants a “fresh face to be the new look” of the sophisticated new lip care line – currently under wraps.

The winning look will be the face of the new branded line, and featured in national print ads, online and on billboards throughout Canada, and into the United States market in 2008. The winning model needs no professional experience, but rather have “the look of style, sophistication and class,” according to marketing director Rodger Roeser. The selected model will be awarded a modeling contract, first class round trip travel to the photography studio for a professional photo shoot, and accommodations. The selection will be made by October 1. Ten finalists will be notified the week of September 24th and go through final evaluations before being chosen.

“Real women of all ages are encouraged to send in their photos and brief bios as to why they should be the chosen one,” Roeser explained. “We’re not really looking for professional models, just real Canadian women that work hard, play hard, and care about their appearance.”

Photos and a no more than 50 word bio detailing why “you should be the face of…”, along with contact information needs to be emailed or snail mailed and received by September 17th at 5 p.m. EST.
