PokerNews and PokerStars to Present Another $45,000 in Exclusive PokerNews Cup Australia Freerolls

PokerNews and PokerStars are giving another nine players the chance to compete in the 2007 PokerNews Cup Australia (http://www.pokernewscup.com), through three more PokerNews Cup Australia Freerolls. $45,000 in packages will be given away and PokerNews players can qualify throughout September. Each winner will receive a $5000 PokerNews Cup Australia prize package that consists of entry to the AUD$3000 PokerNews Cup Main Event, six nights accommodation at the stylish Crown Promenade Hotel and US$1500 cash for travel and expenses. Winners will also receive Team PokerNews membership, which entitles them to exclusive merchandise and invites to team functions and events.
The 2007 PokerNews Cup Australia will take place from October 21 through to 29 at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, on the banks of the Yarra River. Six championship events will take place, including the AUD$3000 PokerNews Cup Australia Main Event. The winner of the PokerNews Cup Australia Main Event is ensured at least AUD$250,000, with an expected total prizepool of over AUD$1,000,000.
The first $10,000 PokerNews Cup Australia Freeroll will award each of the top two finishers a $5000 PokerNews Cup Australia package. In order to be eligible, players must download PokerStars through PokerNews, register a new account and make a deposit. Players must then earn 300 Frequent Player Points (FPPs) before Friday September 14 in order to qualify. Qualified players will be issued a ticket which is used to register them for the tournament.
The following $10,000 PokerNews Cup Australia Freeroll commences Wednesday October 3 at 15:00 EDT. The top two finishers in this freeroll will also receive a $5000 PokerNews Cup Australia package and qualification is the same as before (except that 300 FPPs must be earned between September 15 and 30).
Finally, the massive PokerStars $25,000 PokerNews Cup Australia Freeroll begins on Saturday October 6 at 15:00 EDT. The top five finishers will each receive a $5000 PokerNews Cup Australia package. Players must download PokerStars through PokerNews, register a new account, make a deposit and earn 1000 FPPs before September 30, in order to be eligible. Qualified players will once again be issued a ticket which they use to register for the freeroll.
All existing PokerStars players who signed up through PokerNews are welcome to compete in these freerolls, provided all other entry requirements are fulfilled.
