Ethereal’s EXS Silver Series HDMI cables use silver-plated PCOCC signal conductors for a more stable impedance that ensures the best possible video performance from connected equipment. PCOCC is mono-crystal copper that distorts the signal far less that OFC copper, and results in significantly less signal loss.

“The reason I chose PCOCC for the EXS Series HDMI cables is that it is the finest conductor material that I know of, and it will not restrict performance like other materials might,” Victor said. “This is the only HDMI cable that I am aware of that uses PCOCC conductors.”

The series also uses 24 AWG conductors instead of the industry standard 28 AWG to achieve transmission properties over long lengths, and is constructed with special attention to eliminate the inter-pair and intra-pair skew that can create errors in the digital signal.
