RTI Offers New W-2 Print & Mail Service to Restaurant Clients

ATLANTA — RTI (Restaurant Technology, Inc.) is offering a new service this year to ease the burden of year-end W-2 processing for its restaurant clients: A W-2 print and mail service for companies using RTI 2000 Payroll software. RTI initiated the service this year after recurring requests by some clients who were struggling to absorb the impact of preparing and distributing W-2s during the hectic year-end timeframe. RTI 2000 Payroll software is used to pay over half a million (500,000+) quick-serve employees each year through checks, direct deposit, or pay cards. The RTI Payroll system processes and retains all pay and tax information—including withholding for employees working in multiple stores, states, cities, and school districts all with different tax rates—and generates an employee (active and inactive) data file to print W-2s at year end.
“By printing and mailing their W-2s, we can save clients time when they need it the most,” says Greg Waddell, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at RTI. “Outsourcing their W-2 printing to RTI takes a significant workload out of their office during year-end.”
RTI 2000 Payroll users who choose to use this service can send their data file to RTI, and be assured that everything from ordering W-2s and envelopes to printing the W-2s and mailing them to employees will be handled without any disruption to their office workload.
