Hideki Makes Emergency Alerts Standard In New Honeywell Weather Stations

Available nationwide this month, three new Honeywell Emergency Alert Weather Stations that broadcast up to 62 different warnings, are products designed to keep the public informed of any potential or occurring hazard. National, regional and local alerts that range from icy conditions and tornado warnings to amber alerts and terrorist activity are all part of the alert system included within the base product of atomic time and wireless environmental conditions for temperature, humidity and many other features.

The new Honeywell Emergency Alert Weather Stations (PCR507, RN507, and TN924) monitor numerous environmental conditions so that every member of a household can make choices about activities, safety and appropriate attire. The TN924 is the world’s most feature-rich semi-professional home weather station to date. While the product offers rain, wind, forecasting, atomic time, and up to eight wireless indoor and outdoor sensors that have a range up to 300 feet, the NOAA Emergency Alert system makes the product stand out as the most complete environmental monitoring product on the market. The RN507 has indoor temperature, atomic time aside from NOAA. The PCR507 allows for an automatic low-light projection of the time and temperature beamed in infrared on the ceiling or wall.

The Honeywell Home Weather Stations can be programmed to receive information specific to a certain area, using the S.A.M.E. feature, and can sound an alarm to alert users of approaching dangerous weather, natural and man-made hazard events as necessary.


For the TN924, a maximum of five separate channels of temperature and humidity readings can be wirelessly monitored too. “Temperature can be monitored upstairs and downstairs, inside or outside, in a baby nursery, wine cellar, in-law apartment, attic, garage… anywhere,” Boyle added.
