Michelle has been writing poetry for many years, but this is her first publication. Having won the prestigious DAR (Daughters of The American Revolution) award for her composition of a history essay at an early age, she began to pursue her abilities further. A creative individual, Michelle majored in English in college and delved into creative writing, oral interpretation and even theater. She resides in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with her husband and two children.
