Engraved door plaques arrive in the UK for a more personal Christmas gift

Tanya Hart, fell in love with these beautifully designed door plaques whilst in Portugal with her mother and children. Individually engraved with personal messages, Hart found friends and family loved them too. Recognising a gap in the market, she launched a home business, personalising door plaques for the UK customer.

Hart says; “As a single Mum, working full time and juggling childcare it has been hard work setting up this business and launching a website. But the beautiful door plaques with personalised messages are delighting children, parents and grandparents.”

Already receiving orders from her website www.tcplaques.co.uk, she has found a niche business that the people love!

She says, “And it is not just the children who love the bright colourful plaques with their favourite characters. They are proving ideal new baby gifts, special and personal Christmas presents and unique individual local club gifts.

Hart continues: “I have also been told they are a fabulous gift for men that are usually so difficult to buy for around Christmas - they love the car and sports plaques!”

Also to be found at fairs and events, Hart engraves on site (the children find it fascinating to watch!) and she offers a huge array of designs from cartoon and iconic toy characters to football and car brands.

Early success has meant that Hart is now looking to increase the range of personalised gifts to include photo calendars and a new car range in time for Christmas.
