Gian Fiero Offers Lessons Learned Lecture Series

Gian Fiero, a recognized authority on commercial music and Independent A&R Specialist, will offer a series of special lectures that analyze the successes of prominent people in the music industry.

The lectures are specifically designed to closely examine the process, strategies, and circumstances that were conducive to the success of prominent music industry professionals and famous music artists. Each lecture will spotlight a new and different music industry person who has an interesting and educational story of fame and fortune that reveals lessons which can be of great value and use to those attempting to break into the business.

The first Lessons Learned lecture will be conducted at San Francisco State University on Prince, followed by lectures on Diddy and MC Hammer, which will be held at the offices of SBA (U.S. Small Business Administration) in downtown San Francisco. Other lectures will be scheduled periodically at various UC universities in both Northern and Southern California.

“After many years of working in the music business in various capacities, I started to notice that music artists tend to relate better to stories that offer educational insights,” says Gian. “The fact of the matter is that lectures are perceived as boring and the business of the music industry is not very exciting ether, so when you do a straight lecture on the business of the music industry most artists develop some form of A.D.D. The Lessons Learned Series is a more viable, entertaining, and engaging alternative to those conventional lectures.”
