New media site on Israeli innovations reaches digg home page on first day of launch

israelplug, a new media site that launched this past Thursday with the goal of becoming a premium source for information on innovations coming out of Israel, achieved digg stardom almost immediately when it reached digg's home page Thursday evening. As a result, over 25,000 people visited the israelplug site within 24 hours of launch, providing an invaluable boost to the fledgling site.
