Scienscope International wins $92,000.00 contract. The U.S Air Force has awarded a $92,000.00 contract to Scienscope International, Chino, CA for real-time x-ray equipment. The contract was awarded by the Air Force Materiel Command’s Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah.The View X 1000 real time x-ray system is an affordable full featured high-resolution micro focus x-ray inspection system.
Standard features of the ViewX-1000 X-Ray Inspection System include; A 4/2 image intensifier, 130 kV- 5 micron x-ray tube, Z axis movement of the x-ray tube, joystick controlled- variable speed X-Y stage with a 750 sample rotation fixture and full featured image processing CPU with 19” LCD flat panel monitor.
Typical applications include; BGA, CSP and flip chip inspection, semiconductor package and wire sweep inspection and solder joint integrity of surface mount, encapsulated components, molded electrical connectors, catheter inspection, inspection of radioopaque markers in stents and implantable medical devices, presents and placement of internal components, low density plastic components
