Cinelli’s Sponsors 2007 Eastern NC Tour de Cure

Raleigh, NC- Peter Cinelli, owner of Cinelli’s Pizzeria and Restaurant, has announced that the Cary Cinelli’s Restaurant proudly served as a 2007 sponsor for the Eastern North Carolina Tour de Cure. The event was held June 9-11, 2007 beginning at Regency Park in Cary, touring areas of NC, stopping overnight at Kerr Lake, and finally ending back at Regency Park in Cary to celebrate the success of the 2-day event.

Cinelli’s hosted a turn-in party for over 350 cyclists to turn in their information packets where they provided food and drinks for the event. Peter Cinelli said, “We were proud to support this event because it is a cause that means so much to our customers who participate in the fundraiser.”

According to the American Diabetes Association, the beneficiary of the program, cyclists receive complete support throughout the trip including food and beverage, well-stocked rest stops every 8-10 miles, support-and-gear vehicles, traffic control, medical support, and entertainment. “Cinelli’s has always been an amazing sponsor for the Tour de Cure,” said Anna Haley of the American Diabetes Association. “We appreciate everything they do for us!”
