Emerson Hospital Appoints CNO & VP Patient Care Services

Emerson Hospital, based in Concord, Massachusetts, appointed Kevin Whitney to the position of Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care Services. Phillips DiPisa led the search on behalf of Emerson Hospital.
Emerson Hospital is a full-service, 177-bed community hospital serving a population of 300,000 across 25 Massachusetts towns. The Hospital is known for its outstanding nursing care and patient-centered facilities, and its Birthing Center offers the only Level II nursery in the area.
Mr. Whitney is an experienced nursing executive with seventeen years of clinical and leadership experience gained within community hospital and clinical research settings. He had been with Emerson Hospital for more than 16 years, and previously served as interim Vice President, Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer.
Mr. Whitney holds a Bachelor of Science, Nursing, magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and a Master of Arts, Healthcare Administration from Framingham State College.
