ZDF and Blue Order agree on Strategic Cooperation

Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen (ZDF) and Blue Order expand their long term partnership by agreeing on a strategic cooperation. Both parties target to exchange their ideas concerning major developments in the area of enterprise wide Digital Asset Management for Broadcast and concerning requirements of production technology utilized by media companies. Moreover ZDF and Blue Order will closely work together on their planned TV production and product solution plans. At ZDF Blue Order integrated the “Digital Archive System for Program Material” and as well the “Digital Archive for Audio”. Blue Orders Digital Asset Management System is an essential part of the integrated file based TV production environment at ZDF. Therefore both corporations will work closely together to face all future requirements and the design of complex technical migrations - like the midterm integration of a HDTV production infrastructure. On a management layer, operative and technical levels ZDF and Blue Order will intensively discuss market trends and the latest developments in the broadcast area. “ZDF is a very important customer for us.
