Cleveland-Cliffs, managers of Wabush Mines, is the largest producer of iron ore pellets in North America. Wabush Mines has an annual capacity of 6 million tons of pellets which are separated into four different grades for shipping. Supplying the mill with the proper ore quality during the production process is critical to the cost effective milling of these pellets.

BenchManager provides the shovel operator with visual confirmation of ore quality and material type while digging and loading the trucks. Calculation of load grade on the trucks provides ability to dispatch according to material quality, providing accurate blending of material.
