Salt Lake City, Utah, August 27, 2007 – Just two months after the release of the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie, the Royal Baby Pirate Skullies line of designer clothing for babies and young children up to age six will make its online debut at www.RoyalBabyBoutique.com on July 12th, 2007. Available only at Royal Baby Boutique, the Pirate Skullies line is the first line of clothing displaying unique and all-original embroidered artwork. Featuring baby skulls in pink or blue and pirate ships, the exclusive Royal Baby Pirate emblems appear on onesies, rompers, playsets, dresses, shirts, pants, and jackets sized for infants, toddlers, and children up to size six.Royal Baby Boutique owner Kay Neff chose to design the Pirates line of clothing because of its wide appeal among children and adults alike. “Pirates clothing and accessories are popular because of the pirate mystique,” states Neff. “Deep down, everyone loves the adventure and intrigue exemplified by pirates.” With the latest Pirates film already grossing almost $300 million at the U.S. box office in only two months, there is no doubt that Neff is right.
However, all the pirate-themed clothing and accessories on the market today lack a baby or juvenile quality. “I wanted to ‘baby-fy’ pirates to some degree and make them cute and cuddly,” comments Neff. “So my skullies have pacifiers in their mouths and wear hairbows.” Neff worked on the designs and embroidery for over three months with three artisans: Page Grome of BabyCoutureInc.com; Karen Pryor of CupcakeGraphics.com; and Cheryl L. Hughes and Chrys Henkaline of 2ewenique.com.
There are front and back views of the baby skullies to be placed on the fronts and backs of clothing. A long anchor trails the pirate ship in full sail and may run down a pant leg or long sleeve. Rhinestones are placed in several places on the designs giving a royal touch to the apparel. Neff coined the saying “Ahoy! Ye Royal Matees!” which also may be embroidered on the clothes. The saying, along with all designs, may be placed anywhere on the clothing to suit clients’ preferences. All clothing can be customized to include a child’s name and birthdate. Embroidery of the Royal Baby Boutique logo is optional.
The Pirates clothes are the first themed line of exclusive apparel by Royal Baby Boutique. This line complements the original Royal Baby clothes displaying baby and child princesses and princes. Also all-original artwork created by the same team that did the Pirates designs, the princesses and princes may appear on onesies, rompers, playsets, dresses, shirts, and pants. There is also a silver rattle design surrounded by a ribbon, designed by Neff’s own son, Justin Neff. Owner Neff will customize clothes in all cases to suit clients’ preferences.
www.RoyalBabyBoutique.com is owned and operated by Kay Neff.
