Trademark Registrations Owned by Leo Stoller & Central Mfg. Sold

Fairfax, VA, August 22, 2007 – The Society for the Prevention of Trademark Abuse, LLC (The Society) announced today that its bid to purchase the IP portion of Leo Stoller’s estate has been completed. The Society made the purchase in an effort to bring an end to years of trademark extortion schemes perpetrated by Stoller against individuals and businesses. Now that the sale closed, The Society will contact all of the affected companies and groups to arrange for an orderly resolution of any pending matters and outstanding licenses.

The exemplary marks in the portfolio include: Stealth, Sentra, Trillium, Dark Star, Terminator, Rentamark, Triana, Air Frame, Fire Power, 24 Karat, Havoc, Annihilator and Stradivarius. The Society also acquired the following assets, "free and clear:"

· All trademark registrations and applications (including ITU's) owned by Central Mfg. Co. and all other proprietorships, including any business (or allegation thereof) that might support them

· All licenses granted to any third parties (The Society became the owning successor)

· All stock for each of Stoller's corporate entities and the associated control over the trademarks, claims, licenses, etc., that each of them might have

· All past and future, known and unknown claims to all unregistered trademark rights, infringement, damages, royalties

· All specimens of use, books, records, logs and other tangible evidence of use, rights, claims, or licenses for all acquired assets

Stoller filed more than 46 frivolous trademark laws suits, hundreds of trademark oppositions, and more than 1,800 extension of time requests calculated to harass and extort money from a wide spectrum of applicants for trademark registrations. By threatening each applicant with the cost of a meritless opposition proceeding, he has successfully victimized hundreds of businesses and trademark owners.
